How to use

Are my PDF files uploaded to a server?
No. Splitting happens entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly-free PDF processing. Files never leave your device.
What is the difference between the two modes?
Ranges extracts specified pages — each comma-separated range becomes its own PDF. Every N pages chunks the document into equal parts; set N=1 to get one PDF per page.
Can I split password-protected PDFs?
Encrypted PDFs are not supported. Remove the password first using your PDF reader, then split the unprotected copy.
How big a PDF can I split?
Most browsers handle PDFs up to about 200 MB on desktop. On mobile, keep files under 50 MB to avoid running out of memory.
How are the output files named?
Range mode names files like "name_pages_1-3.pdf". Chunk mode uses "name_part_001.pdf". When N=1 (one PDF per page) files are named "name_page_001.pdf".
